nothing is wrong with burning vacation and sick days before leaving. Never said anything about that, just about picking up over time. If one leaves for their greener pasture they know what starting wages are so don’t work against the guys that are staying.

you are aware that what you’re advocating is illegal correct? A concerted effort and pressuring others to withhold services has been a losing case in court every single time.

id recommend a phone tree for passing along sensitive information. No email, no posting, no voicemail. Act like the company does with SSI. Never in public.

no one told anyone to do anything! I just said if you volunteer for open time you are an a**hole. That’s my opinion. Where is all this other stuff coming from? Because I never said it.

Isn't the difference between year 1 and 2 $8/hr?

yep, about that. But our training pay is sub par in my opinion. In talking with the boss, they are looking at a significant change to training pay, no word on when the change may come yet.

So his post doesn't make any sense that first year guys shouldn't pick up any OT because year 2 pay is so much higher.
