As frustrating as it has been to see our company dragging its feet, we should be celebrating the fact that we will be seeing WB growth. I get it is the cool thing on here to be negative. As I’ve stated before I’m merely passing along info. At this point I’m not even sure why I bother.
So dramatic. Anything outside the giddy box of ATL bois is deemed negative and not worth spending your efforts on. You yourself just said you can understand how frustrating it has been, then went down some condescending tone of how all of us are negative around here.

Come on. Most of the people here regularly are very reasonable people who are not negative and just having a conversation.

No one is discrediting your honor but let’s face it, we’ve been spoon fed way too many rumors that ended up being nothing at this point.

this. Keep posting general. In fact, feel free to add context and speculation once in a while. When acl65 used to do that many of us learned a lot about the company, and the business in general.

Quote: Delta must have finally gotten the RR Trent XWB MRO contract, or a price low enough to forego said contract.

Or...nothing has changed from last year's flight standards "THEY'RE REALLY SERIOUS ABOUT 350-1000s!!" rumor.
The only leverage I see DL having to get RR to budge would be a Boeing/GE order. Unless RR thought we were serious about that (I don’t think we are) I just don’t see RR having any incentive to to lower their price or offer us MRO rights, they hold the cards.

if we are going to order AB wide bodies, we have to order RR engines. There is no alternative to that fact.

His career was tragically cut short. Study up on your history!

At this point? We've been wondering if your the new SF. Mr. "inside baseball" is reborn. A stopped clock is right twice a day, but wrong EVERY OTHER TIME. Celebrate? really? So do we mourn the things that go wrong, so wrong they must be ignored too? I'm starting a new rumor. Speculative prognostications and boredom are the building blocks of empires.

oh and keep this on the DL... the 737 max -10 will be delivered on schedule with the 787-10 being our 767 replacement which will all be revealed at Farnborough 2024 when we announce our merger with Virgin and AF/KLM to become the launch customer for the 797.

Close…they will wait for the next Paris Air Show so they can rub it in AB’s face

Quote: in the same standards meeting, the ER was said to be staying for at least a decade, so no hurry
Man that really seems like a stretch, these old gals are really being ridden hard, the flap/slat issues are becoming too common also engine wear. It seems short sighted to bet on
this. I get the vibe these guys only care about the next fiscal quarter not the next decade.

I specifically said Farnborough because the rub would be to both VA (in the home town) and AF/KLM (not Paris making them travel to announce the news) and Paris isn't until 2025.
