Hire the weak and this is what happens. You have to give the check airmen something to work with for Christ sakes.

ABX has to hire the weak because that’s all that is showing up. This thanks to Davy Soapy.
Too bad no management person ever gets fired at ATSG.

Imagine the liability of the stakeholders with all the inexperienced pilots being hired. If the stakeholders only knew!

He was planning on retiring at the end of 2016. That was all for show. He fell on the sword for JH.

I wonder if ATSG will continue to let Soapy drive ABX into the ground or if he we will "retire". Largest mass exodus of pilots in the world since he took over!

Largest might be a stretch....did you consider that he was hired for just that purpose? So in reality he is getting bonuses for doing a bang up job.

What's the point of driving an airline into the ground? Why not just close it down if ATSG doesn't want it anymore?

Takes time to hire and train and add aircraft at sister airlines while business is turned away and flying is decreased. ABX has classes of 2 while ATI has classes of 15. Still have contracts to fly while shifting the flying around. Look at the cities that ABX had been flying to for 40 yrs compared to now. Same equipment and cheaper. All by design.
