Quote: Question for 330 types. Is there a heavywgt post takeoff gear down wheel cooling procedure?

Watched a 330 departg msp that seemed to have delayed retraction.

Cannot speak to the 330 but there is an MEL on the 320 that has you leave the gear down for 60 seconds or so after liftoff.

In the time it took you to type this, he probably made a quick $4-5k on an options futures straddle spread type trade.

I think the only way they survive is if the government pays for a new plane, such as replacing the E-3 Sentry with either the 797, or a clean slate narrowbody. Airlines are not going to absorb the costs of their self made debacle.

That’s one thing that doesn’t add up. I’m sure he is savvy with it comes to options trading, but if he is that good how can he simultaneously be a great trader and also broke and unable to retire?

I wonder how much he has in his retirement accounts.
