I expect we will a order of about 300 797s in 2025 so 20 k pilots
is not unrealistic...Combine that with your 10mil 401k and PS of 75k for 30 years the future is good..When these old guys leave we can sit as widebody capt for 30 years or more..
Will Boeing even be in business to make them 300 797s?

Define "most." Not including anything medical related, how many actually go early and how early is early in those non medical cases?

we are getting 25 a350s
Maybe. Maybe not. As of now 10 are "deferred" and may or may never show up.

and ALOT of 330neos as well as 321s

300 vaporware jets 5-6 years from now is extremely unlikely. Whatever we do order will mostly be fleet replacement.

so 20 k pilots is not unrealistic...
LOL nah not even close. Even with training bubble slack for the mass exodous coming up, I doubt it'll ever swell above 16K only for the transition, and likely not even that. Plus they're licking their chops with even more "optimization" and tricks like reducing block time by bribing us with "door pay" etc.

Combine that with your 10mil 401k
LOL yeah ok there hoss. Cause the market always goes up and this bull market will roar forever and ever.

and PS of 75k for 30 years the future is good
LOL yeah ok. That would mean about 25% off a 300K salary, consistently and uninterrupted, for 3 decades. In this industry. Right.

..When these old guys leave we can sit as widebody capt for 30 years or more..
Dang it, shame on me for actually taking all that srsly. Well trolled my friend, well trolled indeed.

Question for 330 types. Is there a heavywgt post takeoff gear down wheel cooling procedure?

Watched a 330 departg msp that seemed to have delayed retraction.

Not that I can think of offhand. We DO have to check brake temp before we take off. If any brake temp is above 275 degrees delay takeoff until below it.

Probably trying to finish the break calculations before they got around to raising the gear.

Absolutely. Not at all like saying "The AE is posted" every single AE - that never gets old.

Cannot speak to the 330 but there is an MEL on the 320 that has you leave the gear down for 60 seconds or so after liftoff.

Edit:

Looked it up, the procedure is for an MEL where one of the four wheel brakes is inop. Could be the 330 has something similar. I’ve done it twice in the 320.
