More upgrades byproduct of having excess simulator time available.
Look man... you’re not exactly the best one in the room working at Alaska airlines to speak about anything NetJets. I mean... your an airline guy, who used to work at a fractional for 2 years speaking as if he knows... well... anything really about fractional flying and NetJets specifically. The next “junior” person to you in 2015 had about 7-8 years on you “junior”.
I’d consider their opinions of happenings at NetJets long before yours having only had worked here for 2 years, if that long.
Consider the source.
NJA will continue to upgrade based on capacity to upgrade all legacy FOs and then into the group that was hired in 2015 and beyond.
That means YOU could have upgraded in on around the year 2021 most probably and had no commute to do so. No reserve once there.
But you left after two years of being here because your “promised” upgrade didn’t happen at that time. (Never mind NOBODY promised you that).
You made your choice. I hope ots good LONG TERM for you.
Alaska is looking pretty ripe for a merger next round. ALPA LPPs and MPPs.
You’ll definitely get to know about all those PPs.
