Technically airline reserve is 12 hours, so NJA is worse. Oh and you know you’ll AWAYS do something each day there. Where as, I have airline buddies on reserve they have to go back to sims for landing currency, even on narrow bodies 🤣🤣.

The PIC ratio at NJA is a slightly different animal than at the airlines. Because we regularly pair PICs together, this allows the company more flexibility in getting planes crewed vs having to have both a PIC and an SIC to make a crew. Flexibility is good when we don't have all our flights planned months in advance.

During the furlough era, the PIC-SIC ratio was extremely high and the company did not sink because of it.
