I would hope to see details forthcoming from our company as soon as this thing is signed later today.

I also want to hear from everyone who’s UAL. Personally here’s some of what I’m hoping for from the company once bailout money is received assuming no furlough thru Sept 30, 2020:

-Early retirement offers age ~60
-How long will SRLs continue to be offered potentially
-How long will LOA continue to be offered potentially
-Seat freeze to minimize overhead and training costs
-Aircraft termination plans, what will be parked for good.
-A commitment to the entire company (all employees) that there will be no stock buybacks or other momentary shenanigans (with company revenues) until all employee groups are back to pre-virus wage levels.
-Bankruptcy plan if it’s being considered with details of type, restructure Et. al.
-expected rebound plans for return to flight and density loads expected for each fleet, scheduled ramp up/return of parked aircraft, a realistic prognostic on expected return of demand and schedules that may follow.
-any employee sacrifices being considered by management

The company has already had these talks at high levels, extensively. I would like disclosure and a clear view of the current plan. Knowing full well it is subject to change at least we will have a broad brush recipe to work with.

The details will be delivered at the discretion of Willis. Our input matters not. They will also be delivered rectally and with gusto.

FWIW, UAL is a publicly held company, so you won't be hearing specifics until it has already happened.

No doubt. AA has been somewhat proactive and forthcoming to a point. I bought a 6 pack of fat KY tubes 2 months ago. They remain sealed for freshness but I am ready.

The UAL MEC will negotiate on the pilot’s behalf behind closed doors, AND, if there is a material change to pay or working conditions the agreement will be sent to membership for ratification. Just like the MEC said in the last update.

Just saw the Voluntary Separation Program banner on Flying Together. No details for the three categories offered, but when you click on the Help Hub link, it takes you to whatever category you are in. Anyone have details about all three categories?

I don’t think there will be many takers for this. Pass travel and cobra in return for being separated from the company permanently? United never comes up with any real incentive to participate in these kind of programs. The categories are based on age and years of service and are clearly spelled out in the FAQ section.

I don’t think the VSP is for ALPA represented employees. Check the MEC update for details on the options announced today.

Just finished reading the email. Is it just me or are none of these remotely appealing? Am I reading this right that if I have vacation and want a ESRL I give it up and loose the pay?
