Quote: Aren’t you a regional pilot?
That’s too funny if it’s true.

Quote: Wow..imagine a grown man (probably wearing jean shorts and white new balance sneakers) furiously typing away on his phone, trying desperately to start arguments on the internet with anonymous people.

Sad.
Hahahaha.. with an airline shrine behind him.. more like anti-American Airlines shrine! Newspaper cut outs of Parker..

Quote: What package was offered to the F/As?

My wife accepted a 6 month leave at 19 hours a month. Not sure all that is available. After she took her leave she found out that some will get a no fly block with around 70 hours, but think that was a roll of the dice.

I took a screenshot of poo’s predictions. I’ll revisit in December.

AA seems to be taking a different tack that UA and DL. Again, we’ll see who is right. During a recent virtual meeting a VP said AA expects to have about the same cash on hand at the end of the year as we did in April. Of course that assumes all financing closes and load estimates hold up.

Good luck to us all.

the weird thing is we aren’t that different. We just bled a lot of the top while everyone else is looking at just hacking off the bottom of their list. Add to the fact that delta was almost the same size pilot group with a hundred less airframes and we aren’t too different.

Different networks...different core markets....different fleet mix/age.......different contracts (AA pilots working under a BK contract while others have gains)..different demographics....but all three fly airplanes...

Quote: As per their SVP... 7000 overstaffed for fall of 2020.. 2500-3500 come Q3 2021
7000 overstaffed for fall 2020 yes, but this bid is based on 2022. 2000 displacements on the bid that just came out. We’re projected to have 10-11k pilots in the future, early retirement package to come soon to help mitigate furloughs.

As far as delta goes we have 40,000 employees who are on unpaid leave, and 14 billion cash on hand, we’re in pretty good shape.

Quote: Envoy and AA both are going to come through this with flying colors.
Now it's official, AA and Envoy are screwed.

this is the big part, 40,000 non-cons compared to our 100,000ish contract employees. What I can’t get is with the Cares Act money those leaves are voluntary right? If not why would they take the no money leave just to be fired possibly in Oct when the govt has guaranteed their paycheck through September?
