Quote: Thank you for perfectly making my point. No disaplinaries, no run ins, excellent check rides. Early command. I was indeed a line pilot who went home and simply did his job. Maybe you also highlight a common issue...you 'guess'. As an Airbus TRI I would have to make you down for 'guessing' never a good trait in a pilot. The issue was we had a new cheif pilot who liked to throw his weight around...make a name for himself. Unlike my collegues who were not as 'professional' as they liked to think they were would agree to perform criminally planned duites. I wasn't. Was as simple as that. They called me dishonest..I went for their throat...and won...Funny that, as soon as it was taken out of the aviation industry, the grown ups in the form of judges slapped down the company. Note the foreword of the book is written by a superior court judge.

Seriously buy or if you hard up borrow the book. Who knows, if might open your eyes, alternativly just hang out taking cheap shots. My preference is for you to continue the cheap shots, it makes it so much easier to expose exactly what goes on in the industry and the mentality behind it.
You must be quite the author.

Just my quick analysis of not buying into this too hard.

There is such a thing as a Duty of Loyalty for corporate directors and fiduciaries. It’s a term of art. For employees, no such duty exists. You can hold it as a personal belief and let it guide you, but it is not an actionable legal theory or defense.

Quote: I'm not a republican or democrat, but which medical doctors were they supposed to respect? The ones that said we didn't need to wear masks initially? Or the ones that say we do need to wear them now? Or are those the same doctors? Thanks.
Intelligent people adapt and change based on facts and evidence. You cannot hold someone to their initial opinion as if now they are disingenuous because they changed their mind. That’s black and white thinking.

As always, there are three sides to every story, side a, side b and the truth. DAL handled this poorly, there is no denying that point. However, chatting with a handful of people who have flown with this individual may be illuminating conversation.

I'm not an airline pilot but as I understand it some airlines allow their pilots to refuse to be scheduled with pilots they don't get along with. If a pilot works up a list of people that refuse to fly with them does the airline take notice and investigate what's going on?

Quote: Abraham Lincoln - Quote - Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt

It would appear to be a sizable majority here who wish to prove the above quote true.

I would lay a sizable wager that the 'fools' on this thread have neither seen or read the documents in the case.
That is not an Abraham Lincoln quote. It is kind of silly to incorrectly attribute a quote and then accuse people of not doing their due diligence.

”The deepest irony of this whole “I’m a Republican so I only respect doctors who are medical doctors,” thing is that 300,000 Americans are dead because Republicans didn’t respect medical doctors.”
I wish I could buy you a New Years bourbon.

Spot on.

Quote: Shining example of the great Delta culture!
Didn't all you guys and gals have to go through some type of psych evaluation when you interviewed at delta? I thought I heard something about a straight chair or a rocker. Company psychiatrist wasn’t it? What ever happened to that guy?

All I can say is WOW.
