This is so frustratingly true. Every instructor will get upset about something you don’t know even though you were never told you had to know it. That carries through to recurrent training every year, also.

I mean you’re right, the rooms over by the main desk are the crappy ones, but the West tower ones (past the steak house) have the keyed elevator access and are a HUGE step up. About 50/50 getting the tower rooms on overnights. At least with the keyed elevator access you’d know if your room key didn’t work, which was more like 80/20. 🤣

Can anyone at AW comment on average credit hours per month when things were normal? I know 75 is MMG, but just wondering what the average lineholder or reservist might credit on an average month, without picking up or dropping anything. Also what's an approximate max credit hours if you did pick up and try to work a lot. Thanks

If moving around is your make or break you should probably not work as an airline pilot.

The travel to and from training is great practice for what you’re about to do all day long every day.

The paper Valley Hotel in Appleton, Wisconsin was one of if not the nicest hotel in the entire state. It has the only Vince Lombardi steakhouse and it was home to all of the visiting teams that played the Packers for a number of years. The original owners just figured out within the last decade that it was easier to sell it and take the cash than to try to compete with start-up hotel chains.
