Yep. I easily averaged twice guarantee pre-covid. It’s nice fun money but if you build a budget around it you’re going to have a bad time.

I have a question regarding pay. Could you guys tell me how much you're bringing home a month gross roughly? I know everyone situation is a bit different but I am looking at buying a house and I'd like to have an idea of what to expect.
Also, I see that companies like PSA and Endeavor base pay is $51 to $52 per hour while AW is $37 for the first year. Does it all average to be about the same at the end of the month due to the contracts or do some companies just pay that much more than others?
Thank you for the help!

Always budget your finances off only your guarantee. When you hit second year pay, live like your are on first year pay. Pay down your debt and have a minimum of 6 months of living expenses in the bank.
I lived through the 2008 crash. I was furloughed at the regionals. Currently living thru the pandemic on second year pay at a legacy.

No rumor , hard fact . There is no big announcement coming, no new flying or airframes to announce. Adding the 7/9 to the cert in hopes of a fallout with Mesa and AA or G7 and UA.
No new flying beyond the ua contract, which is up in a year or two .
In the interim the dueces are getting more tired , old and worn out every day . Definitely a dying breed .
This came straight from someone in the know .
Too much too late probably. Should have persued a 7/9 or a 175 program years ago like Mesa did instead of waiting until the 13 th hour .
