Curious, anyone that has had the interview in the last week since they started back up again, if they've gotten a class date as of yet. My understanding is they are waiting for the PRIA check to go through, then they assign you a class date, but wondering if anyone on here has gotten an actual class date.

Yes, I got offered the position at the end of a 30 minute video interview. The interview process might be different for people who didn’t already have a class date though. I’d be interested to hear others’ experiences with the process.
I don’t have a class date yet, but it will be either April or May.

Best of luck to you all. I remember this time last year laying in bed considering applying for a job as a river lock operator and wondering if I’d fly my last flight as an airline pilot in the next month or two. Many have, and many are still suffering from the effects of the past year but good things are finally happening again.

I don't think anyone is taking it personally.
We all evaluate the positives and negatives. Some of us aren't desperate for a job while others are. I have a good career and time so I can be picky.
Flying older 200s, for a single carrier that says they don't want them anymore, out of a base I wouldn't like to commute to, for a company that I hear widely different opinions regarding their training department, that has decided the CJOs from airman trainees and the promise of "priority" when it comes to hiring again is thrown out the window to save a couple grand in ATP costs all while getting bailed out by my future tax dollars just solidifies my choice to wait for some place else to start hiring.

Im going to play devil's' advocate real quick. We do not know completely why they are not offering the ATP-CTP at this time. It could be a money play, sure. Could be a simple lack of resources as well. AW runs an in-house course that uses CRJ simulators. Could it be they are using those exact simulators for furloughed line holders to get back back on a line? Sure. Maybe they do not have the teaching space just yet. Maybe the instructors are busy with others time sensitive tasks. The list goes on. You are right it could be a short term money saving play but it could be much more or a combination. I too had a 2020 class date and this past year slapped me and taught me patience. Believe me, I dont want to work DoorDash another day... Our time will come.
