Nope- you should have gotten the email stating they are taking those with CTP and ATP written completed first. So airman trainees without CTP/ATP but had CJOs are being pushed back. Who should come first? That's not our decision to make. I guess the email saying airman trainees would get priority when hiring started up again was not factual.

I do have both complete already. I'm not sure whether they're bringing in street hires with the written done quite yet, but once they run out of candidates with the written done already, I imagine they'll waive the requirement.

It’s hilarious to read that some of you are complaining about paying for training to get the certificate that is required to work for an airline.
Did you pay for your private? Yes. Instrument? Yes. Commercial? Yes.
Every decade something sends the airlines into the ground. If you’re new here and not prepared, go back to your previous career.

We all evaluate the positives and negatives. Some of us aren't desperate for a job while others are. I have a good career and time so I can be picky.
Flying older 200s, for a single carrier that says they don't want them anymore, out of a base I wouldn't like to commute to, for a company that I hear widely different opinions regarding their training department, that has decided the CJOs from airman trainees and the promise of "priority" when it comes to hiring again is thrown out the window to save a couple grand in ATP costs all while getting bailed out by my future tax dollars just solidifies my choice to wait for some place else to start hiring.
