Quote: I’m sure that they allowed the negotiated deferrals as per the CBA.

The problem is, everyone was “recalled” back in Dec. If they wanted to defer, they needed to do it back then. Since Dec they have just been awaiting training.

This isn’t intended to attack the OP, just to clarify.
I can’t imagine why anyone would have wanted to defer back then, btw...
I'm not sure what the contract says about recalls, but I do know the company said in the recall email that defferals weren't being alowed. They said that if we didn't respond by the time class starts, that it would be considered a resignation.

I was scheduled for an April 3'rd 2020 class date and a few days before got told they canceled for covid. However, It seems as if I should be getting a call somewhere in the next 6 months is what I'm hearing. However, I'll have to redo all of my paperwork and re-interview and repass captains review board and all that stuff. Anyone else hear anything like this?

I would contact recruiting or what ever number you have. There have not been any official dates as they still do not have all the inactive pilots scheduled yet.

I would expect you will have to update all your information, but as long as you don’t have any adverse changes, probably shouldn’t have to do a captains board again. They just want to make sure there are no NEGATIVE changes.

That sounds like you’re making a stamens and yet you have a question mark. Are you try to start a rumor or confirm one?

I’ve been inside the cadet program since April 2019. They called me last week and gave my an ATPCTP date starting 6/2

Congrats on your call and hope to see you on the line soon. I have a buddy who's an RTP candidate still standing by for a call back.

Envoy isn’t taking RTPs. With the current environment, it may be a while. And TBH, depending on the individual’s situation if you can find a place to train locally and remain employed at your current location you’re probably better off. RTP always takes longer than advertised, meanwhile you are unemployed, away from home and paying extra for a place to live. Several extra months of not having income can burn up any benefits. Try to find someone you can split the cost of the rental with and or the cheapest plane you can log the time in.

And make sure that Envoy is truly the best regional for your situation. If there are other options, you need to strongly consider them.
