It would be awesome if one of the Excel ninjas (not me lol) could tabulate a running total of potentially open positions after each class drop.

Since they can only offer things to NH's that they offer in AE's this would be relatively easy for the data sniffers to extrapolate each class and would give a far superior view of what may be available in subsequent classes, hence the purpose of this thread in the first place.

One glaring example is the 765. When a prospective NH looks at "the drop" and sees that (as well as some others like certain ER or anything MSP, etc) it primes them to think "OK this will likely be in future drops" when in fact that may be the last of that one(s) for a while.

On paper there *should* be more 765. Think there was close to two dozen primary+secondary unfilled, and roughly 11 have been taken by newhires so far.

Hey all - the class drop info is a bit cryptic, e.g. 7ER refers to what types?

Also, let me throw in an NYC base question - are all types originating trips from all three airports? If not what is the breakdown. Of course it's always subject to change.

7ER is all variants of the 757 and 767 except for the 767-400 which is coded as 765. 73N is 737-800 and -900. Narrowbody fleets originate trips from all three NYC airports, the number of each varies from month to month. The exception is the 7ER, which I believe currently only flies out of JFK.

NYC 320 is approximately 2:1 LGA to JFK with EWR sprinkled around a bit, maybe 10% or less. Seems like the 73 gets more EWR flying but that kind of thing is subject to change.

Now? I know they did LHR, CDG and AMS out of Newark pre-Covid. Anything regular and not just random charters?

within the last few months I’ve seen Ewr enough in the bid pack for someone on reserve to see it as a small but real threat.
