Fwiw, the May 2022 Projected Category list has 90 A220 Captains on it and only 67 First Officers. Looks like they will have to add at least 23 more FO’s to balance that out.

The 737 has 174 Captains on the list and only 124 F/O’s requiring an additional 50 to balance that out.

If your goal is to get to Seattle, I’d stick with either of those two planes.

There will always need to be more Captains than FO’s to be “balanced”. The reason being that captains, mostly by definition, have been here longer and thus have more vacation and larger sick banks with higher usage due to being older.

Not actually correct at Delta due to the high percentage of FO’s with military obligations. Staffing percentages are generally within a percentage point or two between CA and FO’s.

True, but the 22 D.2. PWA Requirements Forecast for May 2022 for Seattle lists:

73N 177 Captains and 172 FO’s

Take it for what it’s worth, just trying to help out a brotha trying to get Seattle.

Same question for a SLC guy. I know the recent drops consistently have 73N's, 320's, 220's in them, but I'm wondering which gets me back to SLC most quickly. I'm waiting on an indoc class and have a 58XX number, so I may get to choose from those 3. I know I'll be stuck in NYC for awhile, but which makes the most sense?

I'd pick either 737 or 320. Both will likely have openings for a base transfer, and will continue to have movement. 220 has too many unknowns right now in SLC, IMO. Pick which you'd rather fly.
