Quote: Great question. I have been wondering why DePete hasn't come out with a statement that we are in support of the rail workers. At least SAY he is even if he isn't going to do anything worthwhile. (why start now, right?)

Thanks. lulz.........

I am wondering if we could walk picket lines with them if they strike. I don't know if there are or will be any near me, but the government is being a yuge ****ing bully here and messing where they have no business.

I don't like the result of today but they absolutely have the business. And it's not even the first time they've done it.

I think a serious effort would result in some prime time TV. Could they not find a news outlet that would be interested? I get the lack of coverage I’m on CNN, MSNBC, etc., but Fox? Surely if they were on fire they could have found somebody.
I mean, even with this forced contract…

What are they doing to do if 100,000+ railroad workers said “F It” and go on strike anyway? They going to fire all 100,000 of them? And then what? Not like there are a bunch of military railroad workers to pick up the slack this time (ATC).

No they don't. They are being a bully. They need to stay the **** out of it. Is it their business because you might not get your Christmas present on time? Boo ****ing hoo.

Why don't they just set wages while they are at it?

All this over a few paid sick days/year. How ****ing pathetic.

I already said I didn't like it. They couldn't allow a strike because it would cripple the economy and really had nothing to do with presents. Water treatment plants would go without chemicals to treat the water. There would be stunning fuel and oil shortages verging on a crisis. Farmers would see their products rot awaiting transportation.

And if you understood the RLA, you would understand that is absolutely is your government's business and has been repeatedly in the past.

Your side can justify any terrible decision even if it literally goes against one of your party's most fundamental beliefs. What you wrote is party disinformation to get the lemmings go along with the decision. Not to mention how long do you think this strike would last? Two hours probably. But the government sweeps in to save the day!

I'm literally not justifying it at all. I don't think they should have and am not happy they did. You know as I said above.. But they have every right to under the RLA.
