Not much info to report unfortunately and few people predict any hiring in 2024, but we do this thread yearly so here it is.

What we do know:

23 more 767 deliveries between now and 2026.

23 mandatory retirements in 2024, 35 in 2025, and 81 in 2026. 2028-2038 averages out to somewhere in the 140/yr range.

Some MD’s will be parked.

Negotiations for next contract begin.

No hiring until 2025

From my small perspective… Lots of guys leaving even after the VTP and I've heard some J/A calls going out. I know it’s about to be peak but I bet there will be new blood here before 2025

Have they made an official announcement on retiring more MDs? I don’t recall hearing anything beyond 2023.

Current word from MX guys is 8 parking in 2024.
