I hear that new hires start in the 1900. What's the possibility of transitioning to the Brasilia look like? What is a typical schedule like? How long are you away from home? Thanks in advance guys.
Hiring will slow eventually because no one else is hiring. If you want in, then try to get in asap.
My guess is Lakes has more people applying with more time now because nobody is hiring besides them. You would probably need an internal rec to get on now with 300TT. I may be wrong.
Plan on STL as a new hire.
Transition to the Bro is not possible. You can request it, but plan on the Beech. You want the Beech anyhow because it will make upgrade easier. I know this from personal experience.
Typical schedule... plan on not having a social life for a while. Ten days off for reserves and you don't get to bid on reserve schedules. All you get to bid on is your INV days, which are days they can't call you for a junior man. Lots of legs, long sits, block pay regardless of actual time flown, reduced rest, etc.
Great people, great flying, and you will have some skills and fond memories when you leave there... but you will never want to go back and do it all over again.
