VMWare Fusion and whatever version of Windows you want. XP or Vista will run EasyBid and won't use a lot of ram. Originally Posted by GunshipGuy

I'm considering using easybid and would need windows to run their software. I'm considering Windows 7 Home Premium which goes for around $100. Then again, I'm also thinking of just staying with the PBS method. Suggestions? New iMac might be in the not too distant future--want a newer, speedier platform to edit home videos. This one will do the job, but it's show its age.
Any of the emulators, (VMWare or Parallels) will use all the ram you can give them. The earlier versions of Windows will run better with less ram dedicated to the virtual machine.
I use VMWare Fusion with Vista on an 08 Macbook (4gb ram) daily and love it. I have 1 gb dedicated to VMWare.
I've used Parallels in the past and it works fine too. VMWare Fusion just works better when you want to have the Windows environment running together with other Apple OS programs. It's really easy and quick to switch back and forth. Learn what Hot Corners are and use them to switch from Windows back to Mac.
