You got a good point brah. It's totally a SKW early 2000s scenario here right now.
CPZ quite possibly has the most conservative criteria for a mandatory go-around. If you push up the standard near double what other places do, you can't then cry about higher icedences of them.

Yup it actually is a pretty safe culture. Most new captains around here are extremely conservative because they are new. As for your point about the "boss", there is no one that I know that takes MWs "advice" seriously. So yes, nothing to see here.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is pure gold. Coming from a guy whose airline has had, what, 18 low speed events in the past year? Remind me of the last one? Crew was holding at FL370? Flight attendant was passing food up to the cockpit, when the crew turned around and the plane banked they got the shaker? Is that right? I wouldn't be taking jabs until your airline fixes it's problems. Colgan who?
