3 classes in Aug. 10, 17 ,24.

The 17th is 767.

The only real reason to separate them is so they can decide who goes to what A/C.

Thanks for that breakdown.

Yeah I'm fine with either. If course the pay in the 747 is more attractive but either way it's a step up from my current job.

Why would they want to control who goes to which aircraft? Retention?

Previously typed pilots, probably. My 1/29/13 767 class was separated from the 1/28/13 747 class by one day so they could funnel current/qual'd 767 pilots to the twin with no opportunity to bid the 747. But at least we were junior.

They don't control it for the most part... Most classes have 74 and 76 slots and they are awarded based on an equipment bid put out before you even show up.

The bid is awarded based on seniority. Now if you are offered an all 74 or all 76 class. I then would agree that they do have control over who gets what.

In a word...Changing.

For all the issues, however, you do have a cadre of unmatched experience that genuinely want to help you pass.

That's the way it works at most airlines. Unless it's changed in the last couple of classes, that's not the way Atlas mgt tries to run classes.
