Atlas has a number of Lorenzo lieutenants and policies still running the show still or as far as they can. Flynn's introduction reduced that somewhat compared to days gone by.

A strong union force might sway them into the reality of today's job market aviation wise, but it will take some effort. Might be better to apply elsewhere first if you don't want to wait it out since everyone else is hiring.

Interesting that you bring up Lorenzo and Unions.

Eastern had a Very Strong union and were completely united during the strike.

The management was determined to destroy the union. Charley Bryan knew this and took the management down with them.

History can repeat itself, or at least the tactics are familiar.

I used to think that too. But in the last few years (especially last year) I don’t believe anyone can blame things on just the yes men surrounding him anymore. Like the Captain of a ship he owns it. Including if it burns to the ground from abusive labor relations and paltry contracts driving employees away and ruining performance.

A few earlier posts mentioned a high rate of check ride failures in new hire training. Is this still going on? And if so is it an issue with the training department or people who would have likely struggled anywhere?
