Quote: No, the reality is you never knew how... a big difference between book theory, canned stage checks, canned checkrides and the real world.
If you had flown where you are now first, you wouldn't have been in that situation.

Hopefully others will learn from your experience, and your honesty.
I have been following your posts for a while now. Who made you the authority on all things aviation, O mighty one? Yup, another expert.

Guys like you do nothing to further this forum, or this industry, for that matter. My advice to you, sir, is to take your negativity somewhere else.

I would hate to hear what youd say if.youve.been following my posts. Probaly that im an illiterate fool with no knowledge of aviation or common sense and that the majority of.my posts contribute nothing and serve no purpose other than self amusement. Youd be right
Anyone got anymore advice besides don't go?

Not really, this is seriously the best regional of all time. I couldn't possibly think of a better regional than Trans States. You will love your life when you come here, your girlfriend or wife will love you and get to spend 14-20 days out of the month with you. Your kids, if you have them will get to know their father, and love him. Your friends will think you're the man and you're "ballin'."

Seriously this is the best place for anyone in their early to mid twenties to be....

There is no one here that would recommend this place. Even the lifers most likely. You can PM me with specific questions and I'll try to answer them.

Do as you please with the consent of your family. As the late, great DH told me just before his departure, "If I had to go back and do it all over, I would have put my family first." Good advice from a man that got "early retirement" the next day.
Is there ANY growth expected?? I know thats a tough question anywhere right now... How bout morale?? I have heard great things about how cool the people are to fly with in the pilot group, but how are spirits??
What is the status of the TSA negotiations? I think you guys are setting a record for the longest contract negotiation in RLA history at this point. Are there any deadlines with respect to proceeding on to a 30-day cool down period?
What would be the bare-bottom minimums they would accept and/or submit an application with a "reasonable" chance of not getting the standard HR rejection email immediately? Does 121 dispatch experience help those numbers?

It's a privately held company....even Jesus (If real) doesn't know whats going to happen.

Seriously....tomorrow we could be flying A330s to Kiev under the new Braniff.

As for the pilot group....we all G's. Spirits are about as expected for a company that has been in labor negotiations for....hold on....five years.

God Bless the RLA and God Bless America.

Status: Ongoing

RLA: Joke

I think the official mins are somewhere near 1000/200 or something right?

Lemme holla at chu right quick on the real tip. If you have 1000/200 and one or two checkride busts you should be fine given you kick ass on the interview.

If you have anything less than 1000/200 you should have a squeaky clean record etc. Then again if you have, say, 800/100....and a clean record....why would you come here?

I've already got "friends" telling me they aren't considering TSA...they'd rather go to GoJet. (Why not Eagle, Expressjet/ASA, or PNCL/Colgan/Mesaba.....dunno)
