Quote: I actually just heard they are hiring again lol.
Possible hiring in beginning of next year.

Quote: The fact they had to put out a 15 pilot furlough/voluntary resignation request out, and the fact they have never turned a profit, AND if you research some other websites about XO and some interesting financial choices, why would you want to work there?

Their pilot posting has been on the website whether they have been hiring or not, for years.
Heard they have been really low balling quotes to fill their aircraft.

I apologize in advance for not doing a little more research but where do fractionals fly to? Mainly within the U.S. or do they fly all over the world?

Alot of these companies operate with too much overhead, you know big fancy offices, too many management types, and basically not watching their spending. I have been working for a small mom and pop charter company flying three jets for the past 10 years, i have never been furloughed, never missed a paycheck, and enjoy the small family atmosphere. We weathered the economy downturn a few years ago just fine by watching company spending carefully. My point is sometimes bigger and fancier companies are not always the answer, for those of you looking for flying jobs check out your local charter companies, there are a few good ones out there.

Four to six pilots to be hired shortly. Apparently mgmt backtracked about those who took the buyout in July needing to go through the interview all over again. Now they will be coming back from a paid "vacation" without having to interview. IMO this was the plan from the beginning as the people are typed (some probably even current) and a known entity. If not enough takers of those let go there's most likely enough poolies willing to cover the slots. Additional interviews for possible future needs likely.

Good for those rehired I suppose, but it shows what mgmt tells us means just about squat.

Kinda like the equivalent of mgmt. landing long, deploying the thrust reversers, and now deciding to go-around. Lets hope it's not as catastrophic as it would be in a real plane......

Don't know if the hiring window is open again or about to be, but the pilot job page no longer says "not taking any more applications at this time". Updated my information and hoping for the best.

What is the seat lock time for a newhire? Do you see a lot of the X FOs jumping to the CL300 or do they tend to stay in the X?
