God hope I am never on one of his flights. Just another reason to avoid American. Can't imagine what goes on in his head, but there's gotta be something wrong. A grown man doesn't go around internet forums trying to annoy people. I am questioning whether he is even mentally fit to set foot inside a cockpit.

People will only hear what they want to hear. First I never said AWAC was closing. I did say when they turned down their contract they'd shrink and it's a tactic that's been used at many regionals. They'll be no magic announcement without getting a contract done first. Any airline that's going to do sign a contract with AWAC will want to know what their fixed cost will be.

Closing? Never said that.

When are you coming over? yes it's nice. 17 days off next month. Do however miss my Piedmont Peeps. The best!!

Finished a trip yesterday at 1600, got a call at 2000 for Jr man the next day. Today got a call for another one. How much worse will it get next month. The only thing we have to look forward to is schedule reduction.

Yet MP is telling people that we haven't reached the point that we need to offer bonuses to new hires!? Nope, we will just junior man the hell out of people. That'll solve our problems. Meanwhile, the guys continuously getting JMed are getting there resumes toget her to jump ship ASAP...which makes the problem worse.

MP also recently told a FO with a job offer from Spirit not to take the job and to wait for "the big announcement". ***!? Why would he give someone that advice? (aside from just trying to stop the bleeding temporarily) The ONLY way any FO who has been here less than 2 yeas (and probably even 3 years) should stick around is if we are being given seniority numbers at one of the big 3. Even a flow agreement wouldn't be worth it based on the length of time it would take for junior FOs to realistically flow.

My rant is done. Anybody (besides the white guy who can't jump) have anything to add?

Well thanks for asking me. hahahahahaha
Actually going to a company with a Flow Thru isn't bad considering you could go right into a Left Seat Position as a newhire and start getting PIC time right off the bat. Do you have to go to American with a flow? Nope! United and Delta and SouthWest will be hiring. So go where you can get 1500hrs of PIC fast.
