Quote: I know I wouldn't fly a 90 seat jet for $38/hour.
Guess pinnacle pilots are either selling themselves short (and the rest of us) or they aren't worth a livable wage.

And that's the top of the scale. What a disgrace!
What are PSA's work rules again? And $40 an hour for a CRJ 700 ain't exactly "knocking it out of the park".

Quote: I worked for 9E for 4.5 years got shafted more times than I care to remember by the company and ALPA, I left in October, so I was there and I made a decision to better my position and you all just pulled the rug out from under me again. So if you want sympathy from me it is somewhere between ******* and syphilis in the dictionary.
I was looking for some sympathy. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Ok so school us. You left and went where? Can you get us all jobs there so we can place the red carpet back beneath your feet?

Quote: We get it. If you were in this situation, you would vote no and stick it to the man!
And if the TA passed anyway, you would quit your job and get hired at a major right away and stick it to the man? Nah, probably not...

You would quit and make a lateral move to another regional for less pay and stick it to the man? Nah, probably not unless you're stupid...

You would quit and collect unemployment to stick it to the man, because that would really show Richard Anderson what a tough guy you are???

And said actions would do wonders for the rest of the industry because you would have held the bar at a defunct airline. Also, that would leave no other airline for you to whipsawed against. oh, wait...

Actually I would most likely be one of those furloughed or downgraded. Neither choice is appealing. Personally I would rather see the company shut down than be able to continue the mismanagement. There are plenty of flying jobs out there. Many starting above the top F/O scale. There was no reason to vote yes other than being too lazy and scared to find a better job.

Oh right!!! That NEVER ocurred to me! I've travelled 6500 miles in search of another job. I'll let you know if I get that one. I've had applications out at other carriers long before this debacle. I'll let you know if those pan out too, ya know so you wont think Im lazy and scared. I was downgraded too. It was nice making a decent paycheck as a captain. It sucks that Im going to take a huge pay cut (that I voted for because I really wanted it) rather than go to one of these many airlines that you say are actively hiring and calling everyone who applies. Maybe I should start at the bottom of another regional seniority list and make less than Im going to now. Furlough projections keep slipping literally every week. Those of us who had to vote have access to more info than you do from the outside looking in.

That's the problem. You think we are just bystanders.
Actually we are all in this together.

We are? Are you taking a pay cut, together with me? Would you be paying my bills if I lost my job? Would you give me your job and your seniority at your carrier? Would you get me another job...one of those jobs that starts higher than the max pay I will get here, the same job that you dont have yourself? Or would you just be happy if I applied to your crappy regional so I'd be junior to you?

Lol, all these Skywest pilots crying because someone else voted them a pay cut in the future.

If you had a union maybe you would have a vote in all this.

Next up to bat ExpressJet!

Good luck guys, hope they use a little lube on you guys, at least y'all can vote no if you want.
