And my friends that live in Chicago or Atlanta that have been hired recently at B6 would probably also disagree that they were not looked upon favorably by the recruitment team over there.

On a side note, I have tried to dig through the numerous pages to see if anyone has posted what the general wait time to get out to LGB would be if hired onto the Bus. Thanks for any info!

1 year or less for LGB/FLL. MCO would probably be 1-2 years on the E190 and 2+ for the A320.

Thank you very much for your quick reply! Follow up question is regarding any future growth plans slated for the West operation?

Cheers!

Little to none in the next few years. They are trying to get the LGB airport authority to build a customs facility so we can add Mexico flying, but that's several years away. They are also trying to get LGB to allow E190s to use the regional slots at the airport. No clue if that will ever happen, but it's something on the table for discussion.

It will be 3+ years for a newhire to hold a line in LGB, so be comfortable with reserve life.

Gents-
Anybody have an idea of exactly how far we go with the .3 hour/sortie addition to our flight times?
i.e. add it to TT, TT as PIC, TT for EFIS...and so on?
Put another way, what categories for JB would we not bother with the .3 addition? Any thoughts would be welcome.
If it was up to me, I wouldn't mess with any of the #'s and would just note that I was military. Oh well.

Another question, I have my app saved as a draft application right now (still waiting on one more LOR). If the window closes and my app is still only a draft, it will still let me submit it, correct?

Just want to make sure the draft application deadline the portal is giving me isn't depending on if the window is open or not.

I wouldnt count on it. Submit your application now, then upload any additional LORs to your main profile in the additional documents section.

Yeah I agree. You never know when the next window will be. Submit it ASAP.

The posting is always open for at least 7 days, and that is also what was confirmed to me by a solid source. Since 7 days puts you at this Thursday, you still have plenty of time. Also, Thursday is the middle of OBAP (where JetBlue will have a booth), so my guess is that they won't close the window until the OBAP conference is over.
