Jet Blue interview
A friend of mine got a invite for the interview on 1/27 but had to turn it down due to their current job situation. Person on the other end of the line sounded a little "miffed" when asked if they could reschedule for the proposed March interview opening. My thinking is my friend might have shot themselves in the foot. Any thoughts??

That's what I'm thinking. Suggested calling in sick to go to the interview but he's a new hire at a regional in training and didn't want to risk loosing a sure thing with no guarantee of getting on with JB. Tough call but I know what I would have done!

Really! Any company that doesn't respect a persons responsibility to their current employer is not worth working for in today's hiring environment. I am sure JB would expect the same respect from their current employees who are moving on to bigger and better.

The people in HR are under pressure to fill interviews and classes. I spoke with the lady in charge of classing us up last year while I was in Shanghai on vacation at 4AM on a Saturday in NYC after she emailed me back and told me to call asap if I wanted the class. I think you've got an equal shot at an interview in March as you did in January. You'll just be 50-100 numbers junior when you get hired.
