When you don't require the company to pay retro pay you end up with the never ending "Contract talks". Guys stay where you are, the upgrade train is slowing and the new hire classes are back to 9 a month. That doesn't even cover the guys leaving for the majors. BTW: People aren't going to the job fairs and the company is worried about where they're going to find pilots. They think the Military guys are going to come and save the day! LOL!!
How many times are you going to post complete nonsense before someone calls you out for being completely FOS?
9 a month? A class of 10 started on the 1st, and another class of 10 started on the 15th. The last vacancy award showed March classes of 14 and 12.
And no, it doesn't seem they are worried about getting pilots yet. It was directly quoted to me by a chief pilot that interviews and classes are currently scheduled out 2 months.
I'm all for educating people with what's really going on, but you specifically spew complete BS about class sizes, failure rates, attrition, etc... So much so, the one day you finally find a nugget of info that is actually true, no one will believe you. Try living in the real world for a bit, the weather's nice!
