As in past threads, you show your "bright" side.
ps....Commercial aviation/airlines is the part of civil aviation (both general aviation and scheduled airline services) that involves operating aircraft for hire to transport passengers or cargo.
Sorry NSNS, your job with JetBlue doesn't make you better than anyone else.
As usual, you jumped to conclusions (I.e. My current employment) without any relation to facts. Nice try, your buddy last time was saying he had a pretty good source telling him I was with another airline. You guys are funny, as your "sources", but more of that later.
You asked the source, I gave it to you, but you can't accept to be wrong, and take it the way you always do. As usual. If you can't bare to be wrong, you should spend some time and effort checking the facts, before opening your mouth.
But no, you just stick to what you say, what you self proclaimed as being the truth, regardless, and don't even bother to check what others said. Hmmm not so bright. That is a very dangerous trait for a pilot. The fact that you did it before, it does not mean you were right.
As usual you don't bring facts, but opinions. Well in your opinion the TVL rate applies to general aviation, and as usual, your opinion is wrong. It is ridiculous to see you can't accept a simple fact. And it is very easy to verify it, try to book something using that code, and click on rate rules. Not so hard, even for you.
"Commercial Airlines" is what is stated on the rate rules for TVL in the Marriott website. Commercial "aviation", as you try to spin it, is never stated there in the rate rules for TVL. Additionally, the TVL rules specify Commercial Airlines carrying passengers (sorry cargo guys), and that makes sense, if you understand the reason for this rate, which is promoting a particular property.
But really??? Come on, this is so disappointing even from you.
The fact you even mention the cargo, proves you did not bother to read the rate rules, and your attempt to spin the definition, which you haven't even read, is typically pathetic of yours.
Furthermore, corporate is not commercial aviation anyway, it is regarded in common language as private transportation, but that does not even matter for this topic and useless to discuss, unless you are one of those pilots that spends hours trying to explain to the average Joe that you are not the "private" pilot of some rich guy, because you need a commercial "license" bla bla bla... Revolting!
Do you even have a Marriott account number? Or you company does not let you have one? Or you still did not bother to check? Just trying to defend your position without even spending the time to go read for yourself? So unprofessional.
Do I really need to define Commercial Airline for you? Let me explain you one thing, you do not work for one, neither you are a travel agent, and using a discount rate that is not for you just show your ignorance, lack of integrity, and poor planning abilities.
Before you even try to answer, or whoever else for you, check the rate rules for TVL, and if they are too hard for you to understand, which would not surprise me at this point, call Marriott and ask those rules to be explained to you. And if you still believe the TVL rate applies to you... oh boy, you have no cure.
So you "checked" with Marriott and "other sources"?
Exactly how did you check with Marriott? Hmmm fishy
Have you or have you not read the TVL rate rules yourself?
And what "other sources" you used to verify what Marriott rules are?
Rumors? Heard it through the grape vine? Very unprofessional.
I hope you show more dedication to flight planning than to logistics.
Oh, sorry, I guess that is above your paygrade too, well I hope you show more dedication cleaning the lav and loading the bags.
Keep trying hard, one day they will let you file a flight plan.
I am sincerely sicken by the fact you pretend to be a professional.
