If you re read my posts, you will realize I siny asked you a question.
No one did my homework, all the info posted on the TVL rate wasn't new to me. But anywho....I'm must be going to turn in my stuff.
So, for the original topic, are you eligible for the TVL rates?
Simple y/N answer.
(Notice I mad it easy for you, the right answer has a capital letter)
Is it so hard for you to admit you are wrong?

Don't try to in it again into the KCM trust issue. I did not bring that.
The problem is that you probably can't even be trusted with cleaning the landing gear, since you won't admit your mistakes.
Again, very dangerous in a pilot.

NSNS,

Is this an ego trip for you? Willy-waving about being at a "commercial airline". Really?

My case was our licensed, ex-airline (Atlas and Tower) disapatchers were using the TVL code based on savings and their airline experience. When no one was getting points or stay credit, they rightly asked about why. I told the dispatchers to "knock iit off"--there's too much value in having Platinum status crews.

The very next day--this thread shows with who else but you expounding in total snark mode. Is another mode? I asked a simple question about finding the rate rules and you exceed the snark and willy-waving redline. Please stop.

Lastly, no one in the US is due a royal greeting and, as I am no longer a serving office, sirs are out, too. Do grow up.

Willy-waving about being at a "commercial airline"? Where?

I simply stated the corporate flights department do not enter in the eligibility of such TVL rate. If you or others find that offensive or diminishing, it only shows a certain resentment.

Your Majesty (no ego trips for you) asked where to find the info.
I promptly gave the directions where and how. At your service.
Now someone else even posted the all rules for you.

Back to the topic, are you eligible for such rate, Your Highness?

You said you were going to ignore me before, but you are so desperate to redeem yourself from all the times you were wrong, all the poor excuses you made, that you never do ignore me.
But you don't change your attitude or tactic, therefore you can't change the outcome.

You always ask for "evidence" and sources, when proven wrong, you recur to personal attacks. You got answered. Yet you never answer, when you know the answer would show how fool you are.

Are you or are you not eligible for the TVL rate?

To His Majesty GF:
I passed by this tread about Marriott vs Hilton points simply stating the differences in expiration, and the issue with the TVL.
Of course Your commoner RI830, still livid about all the times he made a fool of himself, had to start challenging and get defensive.

As far as "ego trips", I like how always make sure everyone understand you are in a position to tell other "to knock it off", or that you hire guys, based on your innate intuition to judge good talents, or how you always put your outfit as the standard against everyone must compare. Like I said before, it is easy to profile you based on your statements, Sire.

Just to put truth to the circular silliness, here's what Marriott has to say. Hint, NSNS, here's was you could have posted.

Additional Information
Travel Industry Program

- Available to active travel agents, wholesale/tour operators,
incentive company, commercial airline (an airline that is in
the business of transporting passengers, not packages), and
Hertz employees, Universal Air Travel Plans, Society of Active
Travel Writer (SATW) and Midwest Travel Writers Association
(MWTA) members, and CLIA agents.

Limit of 1 room per qualified guest per night.

- Positive identification is required at check-in. The agency
name and address must match the reservation, plus another form
of ID (E.g. drivers license, passport, etc.)

- Acceptable forms of ID for rate qualification

IATAN photo ID card (the preferred ID)

OR any two of the following
- Authorization on agency letterhead from a manager,
calling the travel agency directly for verification

ARC/IATA listing, business card, SATW/MTWA ID membership
card, copy of voided wholesaler voucher, employee ID for travel
industry employees who are not travel agents
Pretty definitive and why I told my team to stop using it, despite their familiarity with it. Additionally, when you pay for Internet and breakfast, the rate often not that much less.

That Marriott hasn't enforced their own rules is probably a reflection of the travel economy over the last five years.

Serf NSNS, you profess to be all about honesty and integrity, challenge others on them; call out corporate operators as unsafe or unprofessional, as a group; perhaps you should learn and practice respect for others and show humility. If you postings intimate a poor CRM attitude.

Oh now that is the reason Your Majesty told Your team to stop it.
A couple of post ago You told them "to knock it off" because You were losing the platinum status.
Which one is it?
You did not know the rate rules, now You did and and decided base on that...
I said what the rules were, I told You how to find it. You wanted me to post them for You?
I am not one of Your servant, Your Majesty.
Where did I profess to be all about integrity? Where did I call the corporate pilots unprofessional and unsafe as a group? Just because in the past I stated the simple true fact that GA has statistically more accidents?
Your Highness is delusional, and should not try to put things in my mouth which I did not say.
May be is time for You to retire, if Your interpretation of CRM is to agree with You or being wrong. Those days are gone.
