Tell your glorified flight followers to check for you then, instead of asking me. May be they can find the info you were so diligently looking for, since it appears to be a difficult task for you.
Regardless, if your "dispatchers" use those rates they are wrong, and you can delegate the authority, but not the responsibility.
Good night Your Majesty.

I use TVL all the time as a corporate pilot and usually get ID'd at check-in. I tell them I fly private jets and that's that. Never been questioned, even at a mostly airline crew hotel. Yep, no more points if you book TVL but I did call and question it and they gave me the points. You guys make this way more difficult than it needs to be.

And just as for the others, the fact that you do it all the times, does not mean you do it right, but it does mean that you haven't read the rate rules, or that you luck of integrity and proper planning.

NS,

Are KCM badges only for "commercial" pilots like yourself?

What kind of idiotic question is that?
Those "badges" are not for pure 91 pilots. Can you get one?
The eligibility for the KCM program can be easily found on their web site.

But most importantly, what has that to do with a discount rate at an hotel chain? Are you really that mentally challenged?
Have you checked the TVL rate rules?
Are you still trying to make a case? Your attempt is plain stupid.
That has nothing to do with the eligibility for the TVL rate.

The fact that you are still trying to win a lost case with unintelligent statements like yours, only shows how immature you are.
I find hard to believe someone employees you as a pilot.

Now, go find some updates to do, some lav to clean, or some bags to load, I am sure they let you do at least that wherever is that you work. I surely hope they don't give you some more critical duties.

When you are done with that, follow the simple step by step instructions, find the TVL rate rules, read the,and have the guts to post comments about it after that. Would you?

I just asked a question!
You can't answer it! I know the answer to the MCM question and the TVL rate rules.

Thanks for the insult! Keep it classy.

Like you never insulted me in here.
You can't read, so let me try to make it more clear:
NO, pure 91 pilots can't get KCM

Are you eligible for the TVL rate?

Well, I'm glad I decided to read this thread. Definitely got my morning laugh out of it.

But really, are you people serious? Are we really debating semantics over a hotel rate code?!

Here's the actual rate rule fyi:

Travel Industry rate, valid ID required, see Rate Rules

Additional Information
Travel Industry Program
- Available to active travel agents, wholesale/tour operators,
incentive company, commercial airline (an airline that is in
the business of transporting passengers, not packages), and
Hertz employees, Universal Air Travel Plans, Society of Active
Travel Writer (SATW) and Midwest Travel Writers Association
(MWTA) members, and CLIA agents.
- Limit of 1 room per qualified guest per night.
- Positive identification is required at check-in. The agency
name and address must match the reservation, plus another form
of ID (E.g. drivers license, passport, etc.)
- Acceptable forms of ID for rate qualification
- IATAN photo ID card (the preferred ID)
OR any two of the following
- Authorization on agency letterhead from a manager,
calling the travel agency directly for verification
ARC/IATA listing, business card, SATW/MTWA ID membership
card, copy of voided wholesaler voucher, employee ID for travel
industry employees who are not travel agents

Ohhhh Noooooo, he did it...

RI830, Somebody did your homework for you.

Yes it is unfortunate that there is a need to discuss this.
But some people can't accept to be wrong, and they always find annoying excuses, or try to bs their way out. These are dangerous pilots.

These are the same that never bring facts, only opinions.
These are the kind of backstabbers, the insecures that looks around after they make a joke to see if others lough. Always so desperate for peer approval that are willing sacrifice the truth.

RI830, learn from His Majesty GF. At least when he realizes to be wrong, he makes an arrogant comment and backs off.
You try to turn it around and around. It's self destructive.
