Our flight department recently noticed that something was up with our Marriott stays as well.

I contacted Marriott with regard to nine different missing stays so far this year. The points and stays were credited to my account within 48 hours, and they made no mention of any change in policy or enforcement of existing rules.

A coworker was given the "travel industry rates are not eligible" reason for his recent missing stays. Thus far, he has not received those points/stays, nor any further explanation.

We are disappointed by the lack of consistency and communication from Marriott.

I know one cockpit I would loathe to be in. Sheesh! Come to think of it I would be concerned to be behind it too.
Best of luck there.

Dare speak of how dangerous and unprofessional NSNS is and you will graced with his ego filled insults on how great he is cause he is a "commercial" pilot and knows everything.

As usual, personal attacks and no facts. You are who you are.
We already discussed your professionalism. Let's look at this.

I simply stated the points expiration differences between Marriott and Hilton, and that the TVL is not for corporate departments, and you attack me as if I offended the all category, then act surprised if I return fire. You must really have some serious inferiority complex.

Proven wrong again and again, but still making excuses, or trying to deflect the heat by pointing fingers. Never admitting to be wrong, no matter how ridiculous you sound. Very dangerous characteristic for a pilot. And extremely annoying in anyone.

You debate like the lawyers in the movie Idiocracy.
Still convinced you are eligible for the TVL rate? Yes, because you have KCM? LMAO
Do you even think before you write those absurdities?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH you are so low, you should be used as a motivational example; if you got a pilot license, anybody can.

Now dare to answer: are you eligible for the TVL rate?

ahhh man! You caught on to me! All those dollars I shelled out to pay off all those DE's over the years!

Yes! But you don't "think" so.
Carry on!

Spoke with both the Rewards Desk and Customer Care today after noticing that some of the previously credited points were removed from my account. Their story is that the "terms" have never allowed credit for "TVL" rates, but everyone (including the computer system) had allowed it for years. Sometime in the last year, Corporate decided to update the computer programming and enforce the existing policy (without notice or explanation).

For nearly six months, I was told that all of my missing stays would be fixed (including TVL stays). I continued to book stays with that rate only to be told the opposite now. More than the points, I'm very disappointed in how Marriott has chosen to handle all of this.

They have received significant feedback in the last few months and are aware of the grumblings online. I was encouraged to submit my concerns via email:

And having read the eligibility requirements that two user posted, under which category are you eligible?
Your dedication to defend a mistake is pathetic, and very dangerous in the flight deck.
