Why would a new pilot come here right now?

Might be nice for a former military guy living in the NYC area that wants to spend some time with family before a major calls. That's probably about it.

All new hires would be smart to turn and run. Will EDV turn this around probably but if your looking to get time fast this isn’t the place got to skypest or one of the American owned regionals. No one will take this if they are smart and when that happens a furlough will come. Give it a minute the recruiters and company men to get on here and say it’s all good.

TOWOP, was in a company email. For sure December. But may extend several months beyond that. To be determined. But I would bet that they know already and are just trying to ease us into it. Delta is so full of $h!t when they talk about their plans for Endeavor. They take better care of Skywest. I would expect things to change again as the A220’s come online. Here’s the deal. If you’re a young guy and want some valuable time, go to SunCountry ASAP. They’ll hire you much like Mesa does. If you’re a new captain and don’t want to be reserve, polish your resume and hit JB, NK, or anything with a large jet. All FOs should be trying any other airline and not just wait for DGI. Terrible idea.

Agreed. Polish your apps, boys, the music is stopping and there’s far less chairs here than there was last week.
