I submitted mine in the evening and called them the next afternoon to schedule my interview. Quicker than waiting for a call.

So I know that a college degree isn't required to flow. But what is the percentage of pilots at envoy that have degrees? Does a degree help with getting hired?
What about the flows? Does a degree help or get your flow faster to AA?

I'm just stuck with choice of going to ATP Flight Academy or College. All help is appreciated.

Flow is seniority based...doesn't matter if you have a degree. For what it's worth I also went the ATP route back in 2006. Hired by Eagle is 2007. I have a degree but several of my friends also from ATP got hired in 2007 without degrees and still don't have one. It is what it is. In the CURRENT environment it's not needed. Put flow in your back pocket. Having a degree could help getting hired without flow or at another airline.

Everyone has a different path in life. Do what's best for you.

It is not mandatory, unless you are an offline jumpseater even if you have a seat in the back. Offline jumpseaters must present their documents to the Captain and request permission for the ride no matter where their seat is. Everyone already knows what's needed if you're stuck in the cockpit jumpseat. If you're on pass travel there are some folks who like to try to be the big shot and tell you you need to stop in and say hi.

Not at envoy but I had TSA ask me at an outstation to remove it once past security. I take it you didn't give up the badge, what happened? I'd probably tell them the badge is property of the company and not mine to give up, not sure if that's true or even matters.

This is very strange. I don't understand what interest CBP has if you're not clearing customs. Even if there is a company policy regarding wearing IDs out of uniform, there is no law against wearing it. I don't know why anyone would attempt to take it from you. Some companies have crew rooms in sterile areas in airports that employees may access out of uniform. ID is required to be displayed at all times. How would you display your ID out of uniform while entering the crew room without doing so while in the terminal? Nothing sounds right about this. There are so many reasons to display an ID in an airport out of uniform. And how does CBP know you don't work in the CPO? Are they required to hide their IDs on the way to getting lunch, only to secretly show it to get a discount, and then quickly hide it so as not to have it confiscated by border patrol?
