Quote: This has already been discussed six ways to Sunday in the Endeavor thread. Why do we need to keep bringing it up? Email your rep and tell them what you want to see. If they don't get this then you can't do anything about it anyway.
Myself and others have emailed and we get "thanks for your email". 9E pilots need to have a united voice to ALPA and ALPA to the company. If you don't like the thread then don't post or read it. I feel like we need this info in one place so all pilots can stay informed and new hires can get caught up. I was hoping for mature dialogue but I guess I shouldn't expect that from most pilots on APC.

Because if people are tired of fighting with him they probably won't rehash old debates after he gets going on a whole other thread with cleaned up arguments. He used the other thread as a warm-up.

The company is offering to equally exchange rentention into rates. They are not offering a pay raise across the board. Xfer the rates. Rates are better. The majority of pilots will do better under rates.

If you want mainline pay rates then go to mainline. Why would delta use us if we cost the same as them. Your line of thinking
Worked great at Comair

That was a different time, now it is all about who can staff and that is going to the airlines that pay the most. Wholly owned airlines have an advantage now because they can pay more but still be cheaper per block hour due to being a cost center. Even if regionals paid the same hourly rate as mainline they would still be cheaper due to work rules, 401k, younger pilot group, etc. I hope EDV gets the $25/hr pay raise.

That's your answer? Seriously? Go to mainline... ok I guess I should just say that I'm regional pilot so I should have desire for better pay or even equal pay for flying the same aircraft with the same people on it. You are an example of the problem - not the solution. Sorry if I offend but come on?!

The real question is what is your goal? Where do you work?
You sound like some anti-Alpa dufus.
Why not ask for Delta plus 10%. We don't decide
the pay rates Delta does. You think this is a money grab.
Typical selfish punk.

Asking for a pay raise doesn't make him a selfish punk. Really? We are long overdue for a pay reset, and let's face it...some of us are here for the long run.

Does anyone have a copy of the pre bankruptcy hourly rates for comparison?

On another note, seriously, why would any pilot not want to get pay rates as high as possible? This is a much different time than Comair. The airlines have taken a lot away post 9/11 and during the recession. It's far past time we get some of that back.

Because 73/HR isn't realistic for a 50 seat FO 1st year pay rate.

You think we don't decide the payrate? Know what you're worth man. I didn't come fly these darn RJ' till I could afford to support my family. Simple supply and demand actually. dont settle for less than you're worth. Well that's just you I guess. Keep Doing you.
