Both are the highest paying regionals. 9E has highest base and Piedmont highest pay including 300%. Some guys are making bank right now. Even first year base pay is 20-30k higher than some of the other regionals. The Wholly owned regionals which also includes Envoy and PSA are setting the bar right now. I think it will go even higher in the next few years. Lots of new hires will be at these companies so if you get on now you can have a good ride. I just rode first class recently visiting my folks and rode first again going to FL for a little mini vacation on my Piedmont benefits, all for free.

Also 2 positive tickets anywhere AAG flies to all AA/WO employees, and AAG profit sharing plan...

Quote: I wouldn't place any weight on a "flow" or a guaranteed interview, both are equally worthless.
...for those who don't move on. I'd say both can prove useful to certain pilots. Neither, however, is a sure thing so one should not solely rely on the program offered.

To say the guaranteed interview is worthless is inaccurate. I and many at endeavor who were not being called by UAL, or AA, or even Jet Blue interviewed at DAL thought the "guaranteed interview" and were hired. So "worthless" is inaccurate. Im not saying that the guaranteed interview is a guaranteed job by any means as the pass rate is around 50-60% percent, but it into worthless.

I sure hope DAL and 9E can work on a more defined path in the future. If Delta is truly impressed with the work of Endeavor pilots as Ed Bastian has expressed, there should be an easier path.

Why not Envoy? That would be an easy commute, no? There's no telling what career progression will be around when your number comes up. Quality of life is the name of game in this biz.

I'm guessing DL gave you a no as well?

The nice part of a flow is the guaranteed movement every month. You know that you march your way up the list by at least the same amount every single month. That is a huge benefit to everyone on the seniority list, even the newest guy at the bottom.

Between Endeavor and PDT, I'd choose PDT.

There are guaranteed spots every month regardless of what happens on an individual basis at Endeavor. A terrible argument to make when you don't understand how things work at Endeavor.

And how many move to AA from PDT every month? I honestly don't know. If it's less than ten a month, that's hardly a huge benefit.

I believe the number at 9E is 15-16/mo for a total of at least 180 for 2017.
