Not sure what you are talking about. There is a benefit to the flow. It is not "useless" as others have said. It actually has great value to everyone on property.

I would recommend PDT because they are stable, growing, and a good operation with a bright future.

Sorry, but I can not say the same about Endeavor.

Funny you should say that. Endeavor is growing by 14 aircraft in 2017...has an outlined five year plan from Delta that includes growing to close to 200 aircraft...and news of a new base expected to pop any day.

Seems pretty dark, better shutter the windows.

The Comair situation was much different than what the Endeavor situation is.

No one in the airline industry, with even a lick of sense, would ever get too big for their britches. Just too volatile of an industry. And one of the few jobs that doesn't pay you for your experience, just your seniority number. Rather ridiculous compared to other jobs out there, but that's the way it is.

As for the flow... what happens when the regionals can't keep up with the hiring? Will people continue to flow upwards? Would AA drain their three regionals dry to get more mainline pilots, or cut the flow to keep the RJs flying?

Or option C) Bring more/all of the regional flying in house.

I doubt anyone would have a problem with being hired on at AA/DL/UA and starting out on an RJ/turboprop and working their way up from there.

Worthless? Riggggggght! Because your at the majors?

Let me know if your ready for facts & real life data, not personal salty opinions.

CUREENT FLOW IS NOT WORTHLESS.

P.S. Beyond the flow, WO'd are highest paid 1st few put (w/bonus). These bonuses are nearly DOUBLE what standard 1st yr regional pay has ever been in our history. (Granted we are not flying Saab's & Shorts anymore, but modern advanced regional jets).

AA flow is not worthless.

I know of 700 pilots at AA that doesn't think the flow is all that terrible.

Not sure what I'm talking about? You made a statement about how great the flow is for movement and then said you recommend Piedmont. Clearly you haven't the first clue about anything related to Endeavor. Your advice should be ignored.

That isn't the point though - how long did it take #700 to get to AA? The value of the flow/interview isn't for pilots that are flowing to AA now it is for new hires joining today. Post back in 10 years when your number comes up and you have 10,000 pilots in front of you that spent 2 years at a regional instead of waiting for a flow number.
