It's going to be at least one smallish ERJ in April then CRJ for the rest of summer. Here's to popping both packs on the bleed swap@#$!

Out of curiosity, who told you that classes are going to continue?

Im guessing transitions for the ERJ. That jives with what has been said. ERJ class April. Then not tell fall. CRJ classes through summer.

That's what V.D. said in a note someone posted on the salad forum, so I agree this is the most likely outcome...

CRJ classes through the summer, does that mean they will call back pilots with a CJO and a previous class date after they are done with the pilots who were in training already?

I think with Spirit, Frontier and the cargo guys all hiring there will be a bit of movement happening again. Maybe even enough to start some small new hire classes mid year onwards if we don't have some sort of crazy resurgence of a new COVID strain. We have already had a decent number of pilots leave each month for some time during the worst of the pandemic so I can't see why new hires wouldn't happen before long and certainly the guys who had CJOs etc... shouldn't be far off at all.

I sure hope so, its almost been a year since my class got cancelled. It would also be nice to at least get an email from skywest for those of us who had classes canceled. Haven't heard a peep since last March.

Don't expect much. Trainee's sent home/subject to recall do not hear much. 70ish have been recalled to class, awesome news for all, the rest await further word.
Pushing through the 220ish sent home is feeling like a slow process with classes now determined by need. The next class is not scheduled yet.
