this is just a short term fix. UA is killing off 50 seaters. This buys them time. Then commutair goes bye bye next year as the regional model continues to collapse.

At least they boxed themselves into a corner with the dates. No backing out now. |

Title says it all. Done Indoc already, and finally going back to ground school. Feeling a little nervous, any words of advice? What to study most leading up to it? What to expect? What you wish someone told you.
Any and all advice is greatly appreciate, thank you! Try to memorize your boxed QRC items, verbatim, and know where those boxed items are at on the cockpit poster. Memorize the plane’s limitations. And that’s it. Show up at Ground School with that done and you will be ahead of the game. Your instructors will teach you everything else you need to know. Trusting the process really works. |

Did Envoy/PSA give them class dates right away? I've heard the new hire waitlist is 6-8 months long, but maybe it's different for new FOs who already have their type rating and ATP.
I imagine Envoy is prioritizing entry for those with some Part 121 experience, but I am not knowledgeable on that so take this part with a grain of salt. |

All of them had already passed LOE and were type-rated. I know that 3 of them are starting at Envoy in September. Not sure on the exact dates for the others. They all have finished IOE after their interviews and are still flying with the intent of dropping their two week notice soon.

We will notify you if anything opens up in the next few weeks so we can schedule you for ATP CTP then INDOC class. Thank you for your patience as we process this high volume of pilots. We do not encourage you to leave your current job until we contact you via phone or email asking you for a start date. /quote "Don't quit your day job" |
