Really? I heard it was a 9E captain who got so mad at some poor FO for eating on the flight deck that he redlined the aircraft to get it back on the ground so the FO could removed from the trip all that much quicker.

A flight attendant told me that it was actually an OO FO who was trying to shorten the conversation with the SLC CA about how the captain manages his four wives.

What is OO policy on social media(vlogs, posting videos in uniform and in the flightdeck)?
Some of the videos on youtube that come up are a bit cringeworthy.

Are pilots actually posting videos of themselves flying? Because that's definitely not allowed. Use of portable electronic devices during flight/aircraft movement are prohibited in the FOM.

The company has done up some cheesy top gun stuff for promotion though.

There’s definitely a number of young people, mostly FO’s on FB and Instagram who post pictures of clouds out RJ windows and stuff. Probably taken with the iPad, but who knows.

Would I do it? No. It does seem like so far there hasn’t been much enforcement by the airlines or FAA though.
