You didn’t HAVE to. You CHOSE to. If you find yourself on a list, it is entirely on you.

This was taken above SAPA and UALPAs head to higher ups. Doubt original terms were agreed to.

The clause, "United authorized personel" above all others thats originally for Company execs, DOJ, FAA, has been removed. I'm pleased with that.
It was a red herring I am thinking......UAL were never going to put MGT or PS on the JS

Very true and sad that we have to unscrew the pooch again because of a few cPT who shirked their responsibility to control their JS.

I'm just glad I was off this entire week and did not have to argue with one of our CAs if he/she tried to deny the jump. Going back to work tonight and now my biggest concern is finding my gate with the new numbering system @ SFO, which is only slightly less confusing than the new JS priority.

Good luck. Told my FO he's buying the beer if I turn into the wrong gate at SFO.

We had to? GMAB. If there’s a “spineless” list I hope you made it.

Just to be clear you chose to deny the jumpseat. When ALPA first established the concept of the jumpseat the first tenants were that it never be withheld or politicized regardless of differences between pilot groups.
One of the key reasons for that is regardless of what we think about Captains authority management in the end owns the jumpseat. When pilot groups make decisions like the SkyWest pilots just did the repercussions can be huge and cost everyone a valuable tool.

Lots of scabs crossed the picket line and flew one leg the day before the strike ended. They are still scabs for life.
