We’ll never know for sure but I’m willing to bet the potential consequences presented to them for continuing their tantrum we’re a bit “unpleasant.” The attitude presented in the SKW j/s updates doesn’t just magically change overnight without proper motivation.

Is there something terribly off putting about the DAL system? I'm not familiar with it. Even though I commute on SkyWest, I don't jumpseat so I'm not familiar with the pre-existing order and how that differed from what DAL has instituted.

The agreement came just as we had to decline a UAL pilot the jumpseat. Probably made the list. That’s just flippin’ great.

That “circus Union” just owned your ass. It’s also the union that negotiated the leading contract in the business and one you may be a part of one day.

Not my idea but something to think about. At United we've been trying to educate gate agents that it's the Captain who determines the recipient of the jumpseat. Gate agents are to send all potential jumpseat pilots down to the airplane.
The gate agents were unfortunately brought into this as the arbiter of who rides the jumpseat. We may have taken a couple steps backwards.
