I suspect it had a lot to do with Delta's plan to send SkyWest back out west before all of this happened. They were dropping TSA and Compass, and geographically separating the remaining 3 regionals. I think it's more likely OO management didn't start any prorata flying out of ATL knowing this was likely coming sooner or later, rather than them closing ATL because they didn't have any prorata flying.

obviously these are unprecedented times.. SkyWest needs to protect its business. Im sure a joint look-over with delta as they need to figure out what to do to Endeavor. ATL was all 200’s. And Delta is even leasing engines from SkyWest. Not to mention the ATL stuff OO owns. If any base was a logical close its ATL.. As for parking 100 aircraft some claims. All opinion..SkyWest has no “tail risk” (own the aircraft) on 2/3 of its fleet.. if its logical to idle these aircraft for a few months. The 200’s and some 700’s make a logical move.. All this is subject to the next :30 mins. Because thats how fast stuff is changing...All of this sucks. But the fact the company and SAPA are doing something. Shows there taking this serious... and want to be on the other side of this test...

I get that you're scared, but unless you have an official source, you're just spreading fear, uncertainty, and doubt. And those who know (if anyone) at the moment, aren't saying and wouldn't disseminate that information through an anonymous source on an internet forum anyway.

Nor scared at all. Uncertainty is there. I'm expressing an opinion. Just my opinion.
If you go back and read my comments, you'll see that I do the opposite on a daily basis. Optimistic and with good manners.
This is APC, not CNN talking to millions of people. I express my opinions, don't impose anything to anyone. We're all adults and we should be able to think by ourselves, do some research, and have our own opinions.

I take it you're still on probation, and as such the 121 world is still new and full of uncertainty. In light of recent events, it is for many of us today. Don't add to the uncertainty is all I'm saying. We already have plenty of opinions dressed up as facts as it is.

"Unfortunately way more" comes across as more a statement of fact, but whatever.

Still on probation and down for OJI (almost 3.5 months already), so uncertainty is REAL, but not scared nor new to the industry.
Anyways, I wish nothing but the best to the industry and first of all to Skywest, because that means we will all do well. And I know all this will be gone sooner or later, but as of right now it is what it is.

I get what you're saying, I understand. I'm the first one fighting negativity like all the stuff "Domino" shares, but this has nothing to do with that. Not dressed up, just a naked opinion.
