I dunno about airplanes at ZW but our block hours are at around 15% of last year so, not too bad. I mean it's terrible! But not too bad considering what it could be...

I saw something like this the other day as well and I was shocked - around noon, there were ZERO XJT airplanes in the air.. So I looked on the XJT flow board and saw why - XJT is not flying in the middle of the day. Almost all the flights are in the morning and evening. Not that there are many, but a lot more than none.

My non-scientific, "a few times a day" check of flightaware has me convinced that SkyWest, Mesa and Envoy are doing relatively well vs other regionals.

I’d expect Skywest to have more flights in any given hour due to the overall fleet size and the amount of partner’s serviced. DUI Doug is running AA into the ground. So that explains envoy. Mesa? Well they’re a cockroach. Or it could be the Houston/Dallas base. (Texas isn’t shutdown).

envoy is doing excellent. Their whole fleet will be back in service in June.

I don't think that was announced, but it is what everyone is talking about. The 175s and 145s are coming back, but from their announcement the 140s are not. And they have 61 140s per their profile on here.

we expect them to have more but they have 500 airplanes and regularly have 100-150 planes airborne. That’s 20-30% of total fleet in the sky. Other regionals are at 3-5% airborne.

Makes sense for them to do this. With a full regional fleet, they can flow back their mainline pilots and furlough what they need of the Envoy ones. Sucks but it makes sense.
