CJO
Hello All,
Interview went as mentioned a few posts above. Asked some get to know me questions, Why SkyWest, went into some decision making questions to see what I would do. Talked about IFR Regs, Systems and Aerodynamics. All in All interview lasted about an hour, longest interview for a regional I've had. (Envoy was only about 20 min.) Received the CJO Friday following a mid week interview. Also was offered a position with ENY. Any questions let me know.

Just backing up what Round says above. ERJ here and I started my first IOE trip 8 days after LOE. One of my classmates started his 4 days after LOE, but the majority of us are 7-12 days after LOE. IOE is currently happening fast on the ERJ. Caution: current guidance does not necessarily reflect future performance.

Hello all,
I interviewed with SkyWest 6 months ago and wasn’t offered a pilot position with them. Went to a different regional and currently just obtained a CL-65 type rating. I really would like to work for SkyWest. What are my chances of reapplying and getting hired? Does SkyWest reconsider you if you didn’t pass their interview before? Thanks

If you’re looking for a west coast base both spirit and frontier have a LAS base

What he said. I can't think of any reason you would want to hop regionals at this stage unless you absolutely have to be at a base that OO has. But yes, with your type rating I am sure they would be interested in talking to you.

Sub-1500hr CJOs
Howdy, ~1100PIC here and Commercial Multi check ride in a couple of weeks so looking at West coast jobs since I may hit Part 135 mins in a short time...
Perhaps this is a question with an obvious answer, but I'm seeing quite a few people on aviation interviews apparently reporting getting hired / class dates with SkyWest with less than 1500hrs - like 1300, 1100 and even 950 etc. Are those all conditional, based on reaching 1500 before then or how does that work? I think a couple of the sub-1000 hour folks had class dates listed within 1-3 months of their interview date so are they expecting to add 500hrs in that time? I was assuming I had no choice but to fly Part 135 until hitting ATP mins but this has me wondering if applying at OO makes sense as well? Thanks!
