agreed. Plus, OO won’t exist in 3 years with the reduction in flying and inability to retain pilots. So let the organic destruction take its course and focus on other things.

My main issue isn't so much the older pilot in the left seat who has been shown to have a more significant cognitive decline over age 65; it's the potential of the low-time wonder in the right seat flying passengers who paid to have two experienced pilots on their "United Airlines" flight and aren't getting it. These 135 codeshares with mainline carriers should not be allowed unless they have complied with the same experience requirements as Part 121.

With regard to safety standards, as we have previously communicated, SWC’s safety programs
far exceed Part 135 requirements. SWC plans to launch operations with dual captains on its
flight decks and has always intended to utilize ATP-holding pilots in both seats for Part 380
flights. This is a commitment that no other Part 135 carrier has made. Indeed, we are willing to
have this commitment affirmed in SWC’s Part 135 operations specifications issued by the FAA.
Additionally, as previously shared, SWC will utilize active flight dispatching, FAR Part 117 Rest
Rules, Safety Management Systems, and Advanced Qualification Program (AQP) Training.
These programs and systems far exceed those implemented by any other carrier currently
operating under Part 135, as well as several low-cost carriers operating under Part 121. It bears
repeating that we stand ready to work with you to raise the safety bar in the Part 135 context.

So, the largest regional will not exist in three years? That is contrary to what most others are saying.

Has it been confirmed these will be flying under codeshare agreements with mainline partners? I was under the impression they were going to be under interline agreements.

If I am not mistaken, any sort of codeshare has to be signed off on by multiple parties and cannot just "happen". The interline agreement is the most plausible scenario with this.....
