Another datapoint for you guys

Interview: July 23
CJO: July 25
Email stating to expect Nov/Dec Class date: August 2
Class Date Email: Jan 9
Class Date Assigned: February 26

7 months from CJO to class date

I would suggest going somewhere else or applying to other places. I'll be done with IOE at my current regional airline (that I interviewed at one month after SkyWest) by the time I would've been sitting in a class with SkyWest.

So what airline is that?

Another datapoint:

Interviewed Jan of 2023, CJO about a month later, maybe even more. I wasn't building time very quickly and finally got the time in October 2023. Emailed my recruiter and was immediately offered early Nov class date for ERJ. Due to obligations in Nov I was unable and instead got Nov 29 CTP and 12/11 indoc for ERJ. Lots of my classmates interviewed later than I did but heard back in *days* and got class assigned for about a month out. We were all surprised.

Another data point:

Applied in October and had an email within a week or two requesting I upload my pilot documents. Then crickets for two months; the link just to schedule an interview didn't come until right before Christmas. Finally interviewed a couple of days ago on tuesday and am waiting to hear back

Was this SkyWest date ERJ or CRJ?

Curious for those who have applied recently, when did you get an email to schedule an interview? So far:

12/9: applied
12/10: survey sent
12/11: asked to upload documents, uploaded documents that day
01/04: sent study material, said they will send me a link to schedule interview when there are open slots

Have been waiting since. Curious for other data points from others who have recently applied.

I uploaded documents on 9/2/23, got the link to schedule on 10/6/23, interview 11/8/23, CJO 11/10/23, waiting on date still...Basically it was a 3 month process to go from application to job offer, and will probably be another 5-6 from that point to start. All in, right now it is a 9 month process if you are at minimums when you apply.

Default Class Date

7/26: Interview (already had R-ATP mins)
7/28: CJO
7/29: Email saying to expect Nov-Dec for a class date, and that I'd be told approx 60 days in advance.
9/26: The "General Training Information" email.
10/17: Sent an email requesting an update, no response.
10/27: Met with a recruiter at an in-person event, was told that the Nov/Dec class dates had filled up quick since they were made smaller for the holidays. Told to reach out to my recruiter again. Also told I'd hear about the date 30-45 days beforehand.
10/30: Sent another email to my recruiter. Got a reply the next day that I haven't been slotted, but they "have [me] tentatively for January," and confirming that class sizes got changed due to holidays.
1/18: Email with class date. 2/28 ATP-CTP, 3/11 Indoc

Just under 6 months from CJO to class date being assigned, 7 months from CJO to actual class date.
